f you’re visiting Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium, do yourself a favor and stop by Brewed Monday Coffee. These guys are the real deal. You can immediately tell they have a genuine passion for coffee, and there’s an incredible amount of science and care that goes into their bean selection and roasting process. I told them I was looking for a nice, thick, syrupy espresso with a slower extraction, and they were one of the first coffee shops that actually understood exactly what I meant! They dialed in a phenomenal shot that was rich, sweet, and beautifully syrupy. Exactly what I was hoping for. Their freshly roasted beans are outstanding. I bought a bag to take home, and they’ve been absolutely amazing on my E61 espresso machine. If you enjoy making espresso at home, I highly recommend ordering a bag online. They’re well worth it. Great people, incredible coffee, and a shop run by folks who truly care about the craft. I’ll definitely be back. ☕

They take the time to share details about their coffee, including where they source their beans, which adds a personal touch and makes every visit feel special. The coffee itself is outstanding—smooth, flavorful, and expertly crafted. As someone who is sensitive to caffeine, I especially appreciate that they offer a decaf espresso option. It’s refreshing to find a high-quality decaf that delivers great flavor without leaving me feeling over-caffeinated. Another standout is their seasonal homemade flavors, which bring a creative and unique twist to the menu. Having such a high-quality coffee option available at the aquarium makes the experience even better and gives guests a delicious way to enjoy their visit. Highly recommend!

They are knowledgeable and passionate about coffee. Great, ethically sourced beans, and you can’t beat the atmosphere at the beautiful aquarium. Highly recommended.
