Casual American cafe in Siesta Village, serving breakfast & lunch, with a sizable patio.
If you're looking for a breakfast that means business, the brisket skillet delivers. Loaded with tender chunks of smoky brisket, sautéed peppers and onions, crispy bits of bacon, and melted cheese , all topped with two over-easy eggs , this is the kind of dish that makes you want to linger over a second cup of coffee. The eggs were cooked just right, yolks still soft enough to break over the hash below. The brisket itself was the star: well-seasoned, with good char on the edges that added a nice depth to every bite. The veggies gave it just enough brightness to cut through the richness. Toast on the side was golden and buttered , nothing fancy, but it did its job. The setting made it even better , an open-air deck with a view and a full carafe of coffee left right at the table. That alone earns bonus points. The corned beef hash plate was equally impressive ,a thick, crispy-edged patty with two eggs and toast. Classic diner done well. Bottom line: Come hungry. Leave happy.
Whether you're looking for a quick bite before hitting the sand or a lazy morning in the sun, Village Cafe is a Siesta Key staple that never misses. We grabbed a seat on the patio, which is the perfect spot to soak up the salt air and watch the village wake up. The vibe is super laid-back and exactly what you want on vacation. As for the food: The Cinnamon Roll: My husband ordered this, and it was a total standout. It’s huge, warm, and loaded with just the right amount of icing—definitely big enough to share (if he's feeling generous). The Avocado Toast: I went a bit lighter, and it was fresh and delicious. The bread had a great crunch, and the avocado was perfectly ripe. Between the breezy patio seating and the solid breakfast hits, it’s easily one of our favorite spots on the Key.
