We went to Ford’s Garage for an early dinner since all the reviews talk about how busy it gets. We arrived around 3:30 and were seated right away. The smell of the hamburgers in the parking lot made my mouth water. Mike came over pretty much right away and took our drink order. I asked him for a burger recommendation and he recommended the Estate Burger. I got it with kettle chips and my husband got the Model A Burger with fries. We both enjoyed our meals. Mike checked on us a couple of times. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Definitely recommend.
I was craving a burger, and luckily, there was a Ford’s Garage right across from REI. We had been in one before in Fort Myers and were impressed. It is a fun place with many car-themed elements. I am not a car guy, but I did find the place fascinating. Luckily, our server Alex (female) turned out to be also one of the most cheerful servers we have ever had. Most servers try to be friendly, but Alex seemed to really enjoy her work. It made our experience that much better. I got the Signature burger, which came with bacon, tomato, and onion. It's a big burger, and I knew I could not get my mouth around it, so I cut it in half and ate it with a knife and fork. Unfortunately, it comes on a metal plate with a paper underneath it. After a while, the paper gets soggy, so be careful not to eat it. The burger was done the way I like it. Fries were ok, but a little too much on the peppery side. Quick Service. In and out. So much more efficient than Shake Shack nearby. Ask for Alex.
Yummy! 😋 had the roadster bbq brisket burger 🍔 my family got burgers as well and they ate the whole plate. My MIL said the hostess should smile more. Went to buy a T-shirt on the way out and people waiting for tables were blocking the merchandise so I didn’t get to see everything. Otherwise atmosphere, food, and waitresses were phenomenal!
