Lucky 8

We had a great experience at Lucky 8. The pimento cheese appetizer is amazing; salty and the slightest bit sour. The shrimp po’boy had really crispy shrimp that tasted fresh and was seasoned perfectly. The chicken sandwich was slightly sweet while the fried chicken thigh came served on warm and hearty beans and rice. The gumbo was really deep and smoky and slightly bitter. The restaurant has a great vibe inside and it always seems to be busy. The staff were also friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend you try Lucky 8 and I think it is deserving of its Michelin recognition.

Five of us had such a great meal at Lucky 8. The atmosphere was unique and Jaiden our server was on pointe and so pleasant. We had all the popular items on the menu. When we told the manager - Austin that all was great except the crawfish was not visible in the crawfish etoufee as it had disintegrated into the sauce, he immediately offered to take it off the bill. Since we already ate half of it, we did not want to make a big deal. Austin being an exceptional and personable manager, give us a dessert instead - best ever percan pie with icecream. Do give this restaurant a try and we will definitely be back.

My first time here and it definitely won't be the last! The food, The vibe and the service will make or break a place, This hits all the marks! It's cozy but vibrant, We sat at the bar and Austin was great, He went over the menu with us, told us what was top sellers, we opted for the single smash burger, a shrimp po'boy, hand cut fries and topped it off with the most incredible bread pudding ever! The food was fresh, tasty cooked to perfection. I really loved the vibe of this place and of course the food! I cannot wait to go back and try other dishes
