Mademoiselle Paris - French Restaurant & Bakery

Very impressed with the work Mademoiselle Paris has done with its new downtown Sarasota location! The space is beautiful, and of course, the food is absolutely delicious. They never fail to impress me with every new dish I try. This time, I enjoyed the grouper with vegetables. It was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. I paired it with a glass of Sancerre, which complemented the meal wonderfully. I can’t wait to come back and continue exploring more of the menu. I was walking my dog Duke this morning up Main Street, across from the old Sarasota Herald building, when I came across a new restaurant called Mademoiselle. Since Duke was with me, we grabbed a table outside on the sidewalk. For late May the weather was amazing. Our waiter, Kai, was incredibly friendly and took the time to walk me through the menu. I always ask servers what their favorite meal is, and after explaining everything, Kai recommended the Montmartre Panini with chicken, tomatoes, bacon, parmesan, and pesto. Great recommendation — it was absolutely delicious. Of course, I had to pair it with a cappuccino, and the whole experience made for a perfect Sunday morning. Great food, wonderful atmosphere, and outstanding service. Thank you, Kai, for the recommendation and hospitality. I’ll definitely be back with friends!

Ok so this was definitely a very pleasant choice for a girls night out. (Just two of us). First of all, the place is beautiful decorated (inside and outside) with just the right mix of “texture” without it being overloaded. The service was perfect. Our server was attentive but gave us as much space as we needed without constantly barging as my friend and I had a very immersive conversation. I also noticed the table near us was also in a similar boat where they were deeply immersed in their conversation and the servers were around but didn’t barge in periodically unnecessarily. The food was REALLY good. I had the chicken churrasco. Unfortunately I forgot to take a picture but the chicken was perfectly seared and juicy and just lovely! My friend had the chuleta with I think some mango ontop and though it was a fairly generous sized meat she managed to eat it all! We also shared the mojito sampler flights which were tasty and beautifully presented. We also got to checkout the back which has the most awesomest vibe and it’s a space if you have a large party and call ahead of time they can put you back there. I don’t live in the area but I will absolutely love to go back soon!
