Tripletail Seafood & Spirits

Wonderful time at Tripletail. We sat at the bar and Katelyn and Cait provided us attentive service and had us laughing all evening. They also suggested amazing items for us to share. Cocktails were good. Bacon wrapped scallops, crab claws, tripletail meal and fish tacos. All made to perfection. The prices are on par with most Sarasota restaurants. The atmosphere is lively and decor is tastefully done. It has something of a bistro meets coastal feel. In season I’d recommend having a reservation especially for a large group.

Had a great dinner hear. Stumbled upon it looking up top rated seafood restaurants. The food here was delicious. Especially the smoked oysters, which are on the happy hour menu. Ask for the happy hour food and drinks menu because they don’t seem to bring it to table automatically. Wednesdays included half off bottles of wine, in which you can take home. The lobster tails were impeccable. I would definitely recommend and come back one day. We sat outdoors and the heaters worked great to keep us warm.

We had a wonderful experience at Tripletail! The food was expertly prepared: I had the salmon special served with a creamy caper sauce topped with lump crab, and my husband had lobster tail with bacon-wrapped shrimp. I had to try the Pistachio Espresso Martini, which did not disappoint. And our server Derek was on point - not overly solicitous but always intuitively appearing just as we needed something. Derek is top shelf, and we'll definitely return to Tripletail when we are back in Sarasota.
