Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse

Went solo, for a business presentation...so a fixed menu, which is fine. All the servers were prompt and respectful of the presentation, but kept the service prompt. Appetizers of Shrimp, these little "crab poppers" were incredible. I ordered the wedge salad, and it was nicely done, with fresh bacon, heirloom tomatoes and candied pecans...a definite homerun. I ordered the NY strip and it was a generous portion and was cooked absolutely perfectly as requested; Medium Rare. A little haystack of crispy onions topped off this perfect entree. I also enjoyed some asparagus and mushrooms as sides, fresh and seasoned to perfection. The Cabernet kept flowing, the servers were attentive...lol, thank you. To wrap up the evening I got the chocolate ganache to go, well, unfortunately the ganache was a little dry and chunky like a brownie...but it was an edible brownie for sure 😋 Overall the meal was incredible as usual, and the servers did a wonderful job. with this crowd of 25. 5 stars all around.

Hyde Park is consistently good. We sat at the bar this evening and the bartender was very attentive. The crab cakes consisted mostly of lump crab and was excellent. My old fashioned was absolutely perfect. But tonight the burgers stole the show. They were huge and delicious with crispy fries. They were just under $20 which is on par with most places that have burgers in the area. I would have expected more from this upscale place, but don’t change the prices. Everyone was ordering them that evening. So this is now on our “go get a burger” list. I’ve had steaks here in the past which were fabulous as well. What a great evening we had at Hyde Park.

REMARKABLE on every level. The staff is absolutely stellar and the food is perfection. But I have to start with the legendary Hibiscus 🌺 Cosmo! WOW! It comes with a huge bubble in it like a globe and when it pops, it smokes! Quite the presentation and it packs a punch LOL. The au gratin was melt in your mouth awesome and the Lemon 🍋 Caper Chicken Scallopini was utterly mind-blowing. The Crème Brûlée 🍮 was an epic end. I love this place. The staff were just so attentive, flawless, and generous with our party giving special attention to a little boy in our party being so kind to him. They have a great Happy Hour menu as well. Just go. You’ll be so glad you did.
