Ocean Prime Sarasota

During our recent trip to Sarasota, I wanted to do something truly special for my boyfriend’s birthday, so we decided to dine at Ocean Prime Steakhouse, a place highly praised by our bartender, the hotel staff, and even other guests at Kompose Boutique Hotel. Having made reservations weeks in advance, my excitement grew as the day approached, eager to experience what everyone had raved about. From the moment we arrived, the entire experience at Ocean Prime was exceptional. The valet staff greeted us warmly, providing a friendly and efficient service that set the tone for the evening. Inside, the ambiance was elegant yet inviting, perfect for a celebratory dinner. Our server, Austin, was outstanding—attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely enthusiastic about making our night memorable. One of the highlights was when Austin brought out a seven-layer carrot cake topped with a beautiful birthday design and a green candle. He didn’t just place it at the table; he joined me in singing “Happy Birthday” to my boyfriend, adding a personal and heartfelt touch that made the celebration feel even more intimate and special. As for the food, it truly lived up to the hype. I ordered the red snapper, and it was absolutely divine—so fresh and flavorful that I couldn’t stop raving about it. The steak options also looked fantastic, and the presentation of every dish was impeccable, reflecting the restaurant’s commitment to quality and detail. Overall, our visit to Ocean Prime Steakhouse in Sarasota was a wonderful experience. The combination of friendly and professional service, delicious food, and a warm atmosphere made it a perfect way to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience on the Gulf Coast.

Food was unbelievable and so was the service and atmosphere of the place. Even just the pretzels in the bread basket in the begining was so fresh and tasty. The tempura sushi roll was out of this world. The steak we had was almost easily the best steak we have ever had. And the pasta w lobster was to die for! Only one issue: This is a beautiful establishment but.. why are the bathrooms only for a single person and only two on the bottom floor and two on the top floor, for the amount of customers that the restaurant can hold it seems a bit odd. We will def come back when we come back to Sarasota. ❤️❤️

The food presentation was beautiful! The foods were tasty. The service was excellent. Victoria was our server & she was great! We celebrated a 21st birthday for a family member. It's very pricey. But, it's totally a memorable experience!
