Mizu Sushi & Hibachi Express

After moving from Sarasota to east Manatee County, I worried we’d be too far from high-quality sushi. Luckily, we discovered Mizu Sushi & Hibachi Express and have been regulars ever since. It’s so good that we often skip the traditional turkey or rib roast on holidays in favor of a family vote in which the sushi tray usually wins! I especially appreciate the perfect fish-to-rice ratio, especially on the 'pick three' plate. They have great food, excellent service, and a truly wonderful staff.

I absolutely love Mizu! The food is always delicious, and my go-to order is the hibachi chicken and steak—it never disappoints. Their gyoza is also amazing and definitely worth trying. On top of the great food, Leah provided excellent service. She was friendly, attentive, and made the dining experience even better. I highly recommend Mizu and look forward to coming back!

We drove 1.5 hours to come try this restaurant with my family that lives in Bradenton and I have to say , “ they were right!” WE ABSOLUTELY LOVED the food. I had the chicken stir fry and the hubbs had steak stir fry. The chicken was really delicious breast meat, no gristle. The veggies and rice were amazing and the soup was wonderful! My husband said his steak had a wonderful taste and it wasn’t tough at all, it was a perfect meal, and very high quality meat and vegetables. We have been to so many different stir fry restaurants and the food quality was never there!! We are so happy to say that we will definitely drive 1.5 hours for this amazing quality food and service at this establishment!!
