As always, the experience was phenomenal. Atmosphere and people cheery and helpful. Food was absolutely amazing! We had the pineapple, upside down, pancake, an omelette, fruit salad, muffins, BLT sandwich, grits, peach, cobbler, and scrambled eggs. The fruit was fresh and delicious. Everything else was spot on delicious! This particular restaurant was the first one that we had visited back 25 years ago and it is so amazing that we have talked about it ever since. When we came back down this time, we had to stop here. In fact, it was so amazing the other time that we came that we always joke that’s where we want to go for our birthday dinner.
First time here and I really enjoyed it. The service was super fast and I was able to get in and out quickly. I highly recommend the toasted biscuits!
French toast for hubby and traditional Benedict for me. It was really good! I can't say it quite rose to the level of Mom's hollandaise but it was maybe the best I've had in a restaurant. Friendly people, homey atmosphere, just a really nice breakfast. A local place full of local folks.
