Based on what you shared, here’s a Excellent food, creative flavors, and a memorable dining experience. Selva exceeded expectations from start to finish. We began with the Wahoo Ceviche, which was beautifully presented with tuna and watermelon skewers. It was fresh, light, and a unique combination that worked perfectly. For our entrées, we ordered the Selvas famous skirt steak with Parmesan fries and the house specialty ahi tuna steak topped with shrimp. Both dishes were cooked perfectly, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. The skirt steak was tender and flavorful, while the ahi tuna was fresh and paired exceptionally well with the shrimp. We finished the meal with the house-made tres leches cake, which was the perfect ending. It was rich, moist, and one of the best desserts we’ve had. From the quality of the food to the presentation and service, Selva delivered an outstanding dining experience. I highly recommend it and will definitely return the next time I’m in Sarasota.

Selva Grill, located in downtown Sarasota, is a very welcoming restaurant that offers an excellent dining experience. The food overall is very good, with well-balanced flavors and beautifully presented dishes. Personally, I would describe the cuisine as Peruvian-inspired, especially dishes like the ceviche, which was delicious and perfectly prepared. The cocktails were also excellent, well crafted and full of great flavor combinations. We went for a couple’s dinner—my husband, our baby, and I—and we felt very comfortable. The atmosphere is ideal both for a romantic night out and for a relaxed family dinner. The restaurant has a warm, modern ambiance, and the customer service was very good—attentive, friendly, and always making sure we had a pleasant experience. We were able to enjoy a well-thought-out and varied menu, which made the visit even more special. This is definitely a restaurant worth visiting, and one we would happily return to.

One of the best restaurants in Sarasota, and I’ve been vacationing here for 30 years. Food was absolutely phenomenal. Mike A is class personified. He took what was already an exceptional meal, and elevated the experience because of his professionalism. Even though we had our 4 young children with us, they still made us feel welcomed (which is rare given the quality of food and service at this establishment). It was refreshing to be treated with such respect, even in light of our 4 young children, and still deliver an exceptional meal. For what it’s worth, I hope management makes the grouper special from tonight a permanent staple on their menu. It was phenomenal. My wife also loved their skirt steak. Highly recommend. And thank you again to Mike A and management for an exceptional experience.
