Agave Bandido

We had a really nice experience at Agave Bandido in Lakewood Ranch. The restaurant itself is absolutely gorgeous — colorful, vibrant, and filled with so many fun details, from the unique light fixtures to the beautiful murals throughout the walls and ceiling. The bar is beautiful, and the outdoor seating overlooking the water creates such a nice atmosphere. We started with the chips and salsa and added the guacamole flight, which was really good and a fun way to try a few different flavors. My husband had the Mojo Chicken Breast with rice and fried plantains, and the chicken was cooked perfectly. I had the shrimp bowl with rice and beans, lettuce, and melted cheese on top, and I really enjoyed it as well. Our server, Aneese, was definitely a highlight of our visit. She was so pleasant, attentive, and helpful throughout our meal. She took the time to answer all of our questions and gave us some great recommendations. Her recommendation of the watermelon margarita was spot-on — it was absolutely delicious and definitely something I would order again! Overall, we really enjoyed our visit. The food, beautiful atmosphere, waterfront setting, and especially the wonderful service from Aneese made it a great experience. She was genuinely friendly and made us feel very welcome. Agave Bandido is a beautiful addition to the Lakewood Ranch area, and we look forward to coming back!

I had a great time enjoying dinner by the water with a friend Friday night. We got nachos and quesadilla. Both beef both fantastic. I tried an espresso martini that I didn't love but sounded interesting. If you like tequila and coffee I'm guessing you would like it. I then got normal espresso martin and they were great During our time there we had multiple people come ask how everything was going, food service ect. It was great! Our servers name was Maddyson (with a y) She was great, very attentive and really there to make sure our experience was the best it could be. =) After dinner we found a secret door leading up stairs....where could this door lead? Guess you need to find it and find out! After we enjoyed a nice walk by the water near agave. Beautiful area to explore.

Good food, and good service. The waitress Shen was very informative, friendly and knowledgeable. We had barbacoa tacos and were good. The restaurant has a very fancy decoration. It was quiet because no many people there, maybe because it was a rainy day
